Kremlin says no conditions for Russia's default
MOSCOW, Mar 11 (PRIME) -- There are no conditions for Russia's default unless they are imposed artificially, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
"We have heard statements by the heads of our financial authorities, the Finance Ministry and so on about readiness of a safety cushion to repay all foreign debt in rubles. In fact, there are no conditions for default as such, unless they are imposed artificially," Peskov said.
The official also said that the U.S. might continue to slap sanctions on Russia for a long time.
